RADIO AND
PODCAST STUDIOS

Tasked with wiring and installation of all technical equipment for a community radio station and podcasting studio, the setup included an auxiliary position outside the main studio that could overwrite and control it all remotely for training exercises.

OUTSIDE
BROADCAST VEHICLES

OB Vehicle which delivers on-screen graphics for televised sporting and live television events. This vehicle was designed with 4 comfortable operator positions in mind. It runs on mains or generator and has UPS backup power should power be cut suddenly.

MOBILE
RADIO STUDIO

Radio fly-away OB kit that was designed to be transported easily in a trailer, taken into an elevator and setup on a rooftop if needed. The kit maintains a professional look when fully assembled, ensuring a high-quality setup in any location.

24 HOUR
TV STATION

We setup the facilities to host a 12 hour live continuous broadcast that was delivered onto the OpenView satellite TV platform 7 days a week. We managed to get the transmission plan and workflow up and running within 48 hours of the request from our client and we had crew and had content ready within a week. Content was recorded to play in-between the 12 hour broadcasts to make up 24 hours daily, seven days a week.

Our responsibilities onsite once up and running was to manage the technical workflows for all the studios, as well as providing management & technical expertise to the teams in studio. We had 2 full crews that ran the 12 hours of live gaming and entertainment, promoting new games then how-to videos were recorded to show customers how to play new games available on the website that they weren't perhaps used to playing.

TELEVISED
FUTSAL LEAGUE

To fulfill a client's request for weekly entertainment, we partnered with a soccer school and created an official FUTSAL league with 10 teams chosen from around the country, mostly underserved areas in South Africa. The league, which had daily broadcasts and new leagues starting every 6 weeks, the league saw great success, some of our players even being selected to play for South Africa and securing 3rd place at the FUTSAL World Cup, losing in the semi-finals to Brazil on penalties. This culminated in some of the players receiving full-time contracts in Europe and moving overseas permanently to pursue those dreams.

Eclipse Innovations handled all technical operations, from satellite and IP connectivity for broadcasting into stores, to camera and sound equipment and crew, automated graphics that would update scores instantly onscreen and provide betting odds for punters instantly, all controlled by our official scorers at the matches on their tablet devices as goals were scored. A record of all goals scored by players was also used to update broadcast graphics with names of players and their numbers so top scorers and substitutions were also all automated processes with logs and reports generated for tracking and legal purposes.
